Still going south!

This message is almost delayed one month, due to lack of computer access.

When I left the hostel I felt ready to begin travelling again. I started hitchhiking south down the west coast and stopped at a few towns along the way. One day I got a ride with two korean guys from Fox glacier to Wanaka. The views from the road were one of the best I´ve ever experienced in my life. We stopped many many times to take pictures before we got to Wanaka. In Wanaka I went with them up Roy's peak and Rob Roy's glacier. One korean guy was a little bit crazy. He wanted me to take photos of him with hat, with sunglasses, with both on and without them in every single place and on top of that he wanted photos on his camera and phone. I think I must have taken at least threehundred pictures of him in the two days I spent with them. It was hilarious to hang out with them, we had a lot of good laughs every day.

I started walking towards Queenstown and pitched my tent by the road. Next morning I hitchhiked to Arrowtown, slept next to a lake there in my tent. After a day of relaxing I felt like walking. So I walked all the way to Queenstown. It was a long walk I can tell you...

Queenstown was a beautiful town aswell as Wanaka. Surrounded by lakes and mountains. I was very glad to meet up with Jack and Lion who I hadn't seen since the north island. The day I got there I went to the information to ask where I can stay for the night. When they told me there was nothing avalible I didn't really know what to do. It's illegal to sleep in tents anywhere in and around town. I ended up sleeping on the floor in some random hostel because the couches were taken by other bums like me! The next day I knew I had a bed to sleep in, that was a very good feeling. After a few days walking around the town and playing frisbee I decided to make my way to the next destination.

More to come soon
